Lacrosse, known as the “Creator’s Game,” is a sport deeply rooted in Indigenous North American cultures. Originally played to unify communities, build leadership, and honor the Creator, it carries forward powerful traditions and values. Today, lacrosse continues to teach teamwork, discipline, and respect, helping young people grow mentally and physically, build resilience, and foster a lifelong appreciation for an active lifestyle. More than just a sport, lacrosse is a legacy that shapes well-rounded individuals, teaching essential lessons about life, humanity, and connection through athleticism. We believe strongly in these principles and adopt them as a core component of our program.

In doing so, TCYLC will promote team play, sportsmanship, commitment, leadership development and service as its core principles. In addition to growing as lacrosse players, teammates and leaders, participants will be committed to being a positive influence on our local community.so they can perform at their best both on and off the field.

The Fall lacrosse season has been extended! We will be sending 14U and HS teams to the National 6 v 6 Tournament at the Michigan Stars Sports Complex located at 65665 Powell Rd, Washington, MI on
Sunday, November 10, 2024. We have limited spots on each team so register as soon as possible to guarantee a spot on the team.
This is a "sixes" indoor tournament played by 6 players per team (including the goalie) on the field at a time. While played on a smaller field, it is extremely fast-paced with no down time. There are no long poles, only short sticks. The only face offs are the beginning of each half, and the game is quickly restarted by the goalie after a goal. It's a blast!
Click here for official rules for this format. They are different!
