We will leave it to your discretion if your child is up to being out for 1.5 hours in the cold tonight from 6:00 to 7:30 at Traverse City East Middle School. If not, our next practice is Thursday, April 10, at TC West Middle School.
Lacrosse, known as the “Creator’s Game,” is a sport deeply rooted in Indigenous North American cultures. Originally played to unify communities, build leadership, and honor the Creator, it carries forward powerful traditions and values. Today, lacrosse continues to teach teamwork, discipline, and respect, helping young people grow mentally and physically, build resilience, and foster a lifelong appreciation for an active lifestyle. More than just a sport, lacrosse is a legacy that shapes well-rounded individuals, teaching essential lessons about life, humanity, and connection through athleticism. We believe strongly in these principles and adopt them as a core component of our program.
All donations to help grow the game in the area are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please be sure to include your name and email address when making your payment so that we can send you an acknowledgement of your donation. Thanks for your support!

At Traverse City Youth Lacrosse Club our mission is to grow the game of lacrosse in terms of both number of participants and level of play in the Traverse City area by providing instruction and appropriate playing opportunities for both beginning and seasoned players in grades K-8. In doing so, TCYLC will promote team play, sportsmanship, commitment, leadership development and service as its core principles. In addition to growing as lacrosse players, teammates and leaders, participants will be committed to being a positive influence on our local community.so they can perform at their best both on and off the field.

UPDATE: Due to popular demand, the Y has added a second "Intro to Lacrosse" session starting May 22, 2025.
We are partnering with the YMCA to offer introductory sessions this Spring at the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA on Silver Lake Rd.

We are excited to have partnered with the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA to bring a new youth lacrosse experience to the Traverse City area! This program is designed to introduce young athletes to the sport of lacrosse in a fun and supportive environment. This program will focus on skill development and learning the beginning concepts of team play.
Our TC United Greyhounds Lacrosse program is for players who have had some playing experience and are looking to take their skills to the next level. We will be playing extremely competitive lacrosse in a number of tournaments this Spring and Summer.
