Michigan Grizzlies Box Lacrosse

There is an exciting opportunity for our 11th and 12th graders to experience another level of lacrosse - Box  Lacrosse !!! Team Michigan Grizzlies is based out of the Cedar Rock Sportsplex 4758 Cornfield Dr, Cedar Springs, MI - about 30 minutes north of Grand Rapids off of 131.

For the 2026/2027 season, the Grizzlies are in need of a few more players to fill out a Varsity team (they have 5th/6th thru JV).  The goal is to have a few more Up North players to help fill out the roster and take your field game to the next level.  Your stick skills, playing in tight, physicality and creativity will increase tremendously.  Our advice to any high school player thinking about playing at college is " play box lacrosse" !!!

The Michigan Grizzlies link below is the youth/JV schedule information along with some information about the program and coaches.  The coaches are a great group of guys in their late 20's & 30's.  Former college players and Canadian Box Jr. league players.  This group is very technical and they understand the game well.  Most of the coaches currently play for the Grand Rapids Grizzlies; a Sr. B men's box lacrosse team, part of the NBLL.

Last year the boys participated in 3 tournaments.  The cost for the season was ~ $1500 which included the 3 tournaments and practices.
